My dad received these as a gift from Col Brown about 25 years ago. We used to see the Col at the annual SHOT shows, and the guys traded gifts and prototypes. Dad's had these awesome boots in his closet all this time - he's just not a boot guy. I am assured that they are very well-made, going to last forever kind of boots. I believe it. They are sturdy, and have padding and wonderful leather. Just that quick once-over with saddle soap brought these things to life. Dad and I couldn't find any indication of the maker, so we're just guessing here. If you have a pair of these, will you let me know who made them? Otherwise, I'm comparing them to boots I find online, and I have to say...these boots are better.
